Taco Bell is owned by Yum Brands. Yum Brands is owned by Vanguard and BlackRock.
Vanguard and BlackRock also own McDonald's, Starbucks, Olive Garden, and Wendy's.
All these companies fund the National Restaurant Association, which has successfully blocked every federal minimum wage increase for 15 years.
The federal minimum wage is still $7.25, the same number it was in 2009.
